I'm Ian Powell — a husband to Amber, a dad to Xaver and Zoey, a follower of Jesus, and a fiduciary financial advisor who believes money should serve your mission, not the other way around.

My family and I live on a ranchette in Burleson, Texas. We spend our free time building LEGO sets, chasing National Parks (we’re on a quest to see them all before Xaver turns 18), and adventuring in our crank-window, turbo-diesel Jeep Wrangler. We don’t really take vacations — we go on quests.

I'm a Rotarian and past president of the Burleson Area Midday Rotary Club. I believe in building up our community, loving people well, and stewarding what we’ve been given for Kingdom impact.

When our son was just 3 months old, Amber and I joined a Financial Peace University class — and realized we were drowning in $156,000 of consumer debt. It took us 39 months to dig out. That journey changed our marriage, our future, and my entire career path.

In January 2019, I became a financial advisor. Today, I’m a fiduciary, an entrepreneur, and soon (God willing, November!) a Certified Financial Planner™. I build my own portfolios so clients avoid unnecessary fees — always focused on transparency and alignment with your values.

My priorities are simple: God → Amber → Our Kids → Everything Else.

I’m not here to impress you. I’m here to serve you — with wisdom, compassion, and a commitment to helping you live a life of peace, generosity, and purpose.
