#BeeSalty is a 501c3 NonProfit
Mission: To be the salt of the earth, as Jesus said to us in Matthew 5:13 - not a direct commandment - but rather a statement that if we are not salty - or rather fruitful - we are useless. Jesus, son of God, God Himself, died for us to have eternal life. We are called to serve people here on Earth as Jesus did and continues to do.
Purpose: #BeeSalty exists to help guide investors of public companies on how to vote for the board of directors for public companies.
Money = A Tool
Money is not good. It is not evil. Money is simply a tool to be used.
Money is not a hammer, a screwdriver, a knife, or a bottle opener. Rather money is more like a Swiss Army knife - many purposes.
Money is like a spotlight - highlighting the people we already are. It does not create us in any one way but simply amplifies are current traits.
Public companies can have a significant impact on society - in turn, we get to impact them. Many people - unknowingly - give up their right to vote, thinking that one vote doesn't matter. But one vote compounds with other votes and can sway an entire election.
So, as Christians, we believe that we are called to form this Earth - to be a part of creation - in God's likeness - to bring heaven down here.
Heaven is experiencing the true presence, power, and love of God for all eternity. The opposite is separation from God ~ pain and suffering.
As Christians, we are called to make Earth like heaven - to "Be the Salt of the Earth" - as it is in heaven. So, like a powerful arsenal of tools - this is one way that we can do so - by having an impact.
#BeeSalty - in partnership with Financial Serenity - has the following vision:
Vision:
By August 2043, we strive to have $1T in Assets Under Management (AUM) with the express intent of having control over the proxy votes of the public companies so that we can ethically and morally vote what is in the best interest of our clients.
Oversight:
We will have a Board of Directors that helps shape what we believe - we will always be 100% transparent in what we believe and how that impacts the decisions we make.
What we believe:
Human Life is Precious; From Conception to Natural Death.
God the Father, Jesus His Son, and The Holy Spirit are three parts of One God.
The Bible is the compass we need to know how to navigate this world. It is infallible. It is divinely inspired.
People were created. Man and Woman.
Every denomination has failures and shortcomings - while we are not a church, like the imperfect humans that created #BeeSalty - we expect that we will have failures as well - but we strive to do the best we can and get better every day.
The Ten Commandments - along with the 600+ other laws in the Bible - are more than a set of rules to live life by - not only do they show the necessity of God's Grace and Salvation - but they help guide us for how to continue to live life.
Salvation comes through Jesus by Grace.
We cannot earn salvation. We cannot do enough good. We will never be good enough, but we can accept Jesus' covering to protect us from our shortcomings.
Goals:
Build at least 2001 "Salt Blocks" - places where Financial Serenity and #BeeSalty can serve the local community with Faith Based Financial Advice. Each Salt Block will be approximately 10,000 square feet and will have alarge main workroom, and coffee shop, a offices upstairs. The locations will be converted into a place for a local church to have free or deeply discounted places to worship every week. The offices upstairs will be converted into kid-friendly spaces. During the week, it will be a place where people come for financial advice, coaching, or other services. The main room can be set up in one of many different ways - either a "Rock - Rockwall climbing gym" or a casual coffee shop - or possibly a dining hall set up - the options are plentiful but intentional. The church that uses the space will pay at most 9 3/4% of its monthly revenue from tithes and offerings. They will have access to the facility all day Sunday and a minimum of 1 night per week. Plus, 1 week during the summer, Ash Wednesday, Easter Weekend, and Christmas Eve. There will also be a dedicated office for the pastor and one or two other staff members.
Our goal is to lay the foundation for our first Salt Block in 2025.
$1T In AUM - through direct indexing and individual stocks or through managed ETF's/Mutual Funds.
Our goal is to create the first ETF by the end of 2025.
